Tip of the Week – November 30th, 2015

Business is often fast-paced, and many of us share the belief that time is money. Would your chapter like to receive their new members’ badges and card caddies as soon as possible?
A big way to do this is to make absolutely sure the applications are properly filled out. We know everyone can make mistakes, but we also want to help try and prevent these because LeTip receives quite a few applications that often have missing information and this unfortunately delays the process for a new member coming in. This is why we want to help you make things go easier and smoother with this week’s TIP…
Always make sure to proof the Application before submitting it to LeTip.
Here are some common errors that cause delays for new joining members:
• No chapter name/wrong chapter name
• No category on the application provided
• No sponsor provided (who invited them)
• No enrollment payment
• Credit/Debit card expired
• CVV code is blank
• The new Member did not sign or date the application
Again we know everyone can make mistakes, but we also hope that sharing this information with you will help speed up your chapters’ growth by informing you of these common application errors. We know many are eager to get new members in their chapters and we want to help you succeed.

Once they have filled in the PDF document and clicked “Submit” it sends their application directly back to LeTip in a temporary hold stage, awaiting the chapter’s approval.
